You only get three sizes S,M, L in the accompanying ballistic-nylon carrying case, and note that they run slightly smaller than average--I wear a medium in the majority of ear tips I test, and found myself somewhere between the medium and large size for the S4As. If you have the same difficulty, I recommend picking up the Gel and Foam SuperTip Sampler Starter Kit from Monster--you're sure to find at least one set of earbuds in there that fits. One area that needs improvement on the S4A is the sticky rubber coating on the wire.
The rubber makes them very prone to tangles, and not the kind that you can just shake around to unravel. The wire gave me a headache every time I pulled the headphones out of my pocket. I'm hoping that Klipsch will develop future production models that feature braided cloth cordage similar to the Urbanears Plattan Plus.
The wire also offers track navigation controls through a remote that sits several inches down from the right earpiece. There's only one button, but the box has a link to download a free copy of the Klipsch Control App for Android.
With the app installed on a phone running Android 2. Don't think that these can be beat in price range that's why they dominate in this price range without even necessarily being "mainstream".
Absolutely love the s4 series. The android function works without a single problem. We use samsung galaxy 5. No issues. The headphones I know from a previous pair that suffered fate of getting ran over by car take a bit to really loosen up but when it does it's majestic. Bass really gets loose and pops and clean. I feel the bass gets even more impressive after burn in for sure. The o ne negative I've heard but yet to experience is the 3. I hear that over time it can wear Apparently u can upgrade.
If that ever happens yes I'll be disappointed and I'll see how the upgrade jack process works. Not even too sure how long it takes if used daily hat u can expect this wear if at all just rumors. So if true then simply design flaw.
I Do recommend these headphones to anybody. Great sonic headphones that won't break the bank. Excellent brand. Excellent product Read full review. The rubber tips that come with them are awful, though. I replaced them with the foam tips that came with my Betas which made them sound much better. Maybe it was just my pair, but the high tones had a sort of rattle when I first used them.
That went away within a few hours of usage, though. The earphones have a nice weight to them, but not in a bad way. More of a "they used high quality materials to make these" way. This product is awesome i was using beats isport and scull candy but not as expected result. I have seen many people were suggesting this product and the bid was also good deal for me. It has delivered to me with in a week.
The sound quality perfect with my HTC one M8 boom sound. This allows for better outgoing sound quality when making calls. The rubber tips, on the other hand, are a little different than most earbuds, and in my case, I found they seemed to fit very securely in my ear. The style definitely adds a few more points in favor of these earbuds. The black and silver color scheme is pretty striking, definitely more so than the more common flat single-color designs in a lot of other earbuds.
These also seem to sit a little more flush with your ears. Klipsch recommends that you download the Klipsch Control app in the Google Play Store to enable full functionality for the in-line remote, though in my testing the functionality was roughly the same either way. Klipsch Control will show you other apps that could possibly interfere with the controls, but even with these disabled I still had problems.
A single click on the single button is used to either play or pause while playing music, answer a phone call, and to mute and unmute the mic during a call. This worked fine, as did double clicking to skip the currently playing track. Clicking three times to go to the previous track did not though, re-dialing the last call I had made instead. Instead, it opened Google Now.
Both of these issues are mentioned on the Play Store page for Klipsch Control, and while the company is working to fix them, it is still a problem at the time of this writing. Using the Klipsch Image S4A to make calls did work quite well, on the other hand. Incoming sound quality was about as clear as a phone call can be, and the quality of outgoing voice was good as well.
This is one area where the included clothing clip is very handy, as it makes the quality of outgoing voice even better. The first, to judge overall quality, was through a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 audio interface, using the built-in headphone amp.
