Lost Christmas was the violent riot that arose from the Apocalypse Virus on December , which made matters even worse. An outbreak of the Virus appeared in Roppongi , Tokyo leading to a chaotic turmoil in the country. Slightly prior to Lost Christmas, terrorist attacks and assassinations from an unknown organization decimated the majority of the important Japanese politicians. With the majority of its own political force swept out, the crippled Japanese government asked for international help.
GHQ formed and successfully managed to bring things under control and helped develop a temporary vaccine as a result of enormous taxation , but many Japanese people were not satisfied by its oppressive rule.
At Roppongi Fort, Yahiro traded this drug with local residents for information regarding the Funeral Parlor, in order to keep his brother Jun alive. Guilty Crown Wiki Explore. Discord Discussions Forums. Media Guide. I pity Shu, a lot. Getting involved in this and now even getting caught because he tried to trust someone. That will make his problems at socializing much worse.
And, as always, I agree with you. The pace finally slowed down a little bit too, even though it seems next week there is going to be some more action. Huh, I think you managed to parallel my thoughts about this episode almost exactly.
It has so many face-palm inducing flaws, and yet I find myself rather fond of it despite them. It's funny, but as face-palming as all of it was, it really was entertaining and I'm not sure why.
Oh well — just enjoy the ride, I guess. OTOH, the exposition of the void gene raised a few questions for me through I think it was originally raised in the ASuki forums , why is Inori such a simple, yet complex girl a sword that actually shields the user???
I think that Gai already knowing so much about the Voids takes a lot of the fun out of things. It would have been far more interesting to have had Shuu have to figure this stuff out along with Inori. Iincho showed more personality in her minutes of screentime and little skit in the ED sequence. The show isn't "bad", but its not nearly as good as it should be. And it most certainly should not be in the noitaminA slot.
Why wouldn't they? She is one of the famous Idol singers in Japan. The students looked at Inori in awe as their heads truly wondered if this is the actual Inori Yuzuriha.
Hare seeing her, got taken back. She didn't expect her to actually come to school, especially when Shu had told her when she was going to live in his apartment. She knew what type of person Shu was, but to get a new girl so suddenly, especially when he already has another girl waiting, is too fast. Hare seeing Shu's smile towards the pinkette standing in front of the class, she couldn't help but think to herself that maybe Shu is a womanizer.
Even the bubbly Souta kept looking at her with a blush on his cheeks as his mind began to wander the possibility of ever meeting her in real life, and now that she's here, he could do that. Shu, who was looking at this, frowned as he knew that Souta would do anything to be with Inori. Shu just simply released his killing intent and directed towards Souta. Souta flinched as he felt someone staring at him with hungry eyes, as if he wanted to devour him whole. I'm sorry about that Inori-san, you can sit right over there.
Inori glanced at Shu for a mere second before sitting down on her seat. While class was ongoing, Shu began thinking to himself about the things he's going to do now. He knew that he had changed the timeline again when meeting Yahiro in the morning, that is if Yahiro doesn't report this to GHQ, or if he's the one that gets captured for selling norma-gene, and the chances of that happening is quite high.
Shu knew that Yahiro had made a fake promise with the original Shu, where Shu promised to keep his secret, and Yahiro wouldn't mention his involvement with Funeral Parlor. However Yahiro had betrayed Shu by breaking that promise. He had reported this to one of the majors, getting Shu arrested. And to be honest, the "fake" Shu couldn't be mad at him for doing that. I mean if your brother is dying of a virus, and someone offered to save him just by selling someone out, who wouldn't want to do that?
Yahiro had every right to do that, but the way he did it wasn't entirely correct. If Yahiro had mentioned his problem on the day where he got caught by the original Shu, then maybe Shu would have done everything to help him. Besides it doesn't matter anymore, since Shu had changed the timeline by helping Yahiro with his problem.
