BC - 2 months ago. Only hair product I needed after washing my hair except for a little finishing spray. The new formula leaves hair tacky, sticky and disgusting. I had one of the large old bottles left, they changed the formula and added Isopropyl Alcohol to it!

I actually had to re wash my hair. This is so strange to me I usually use about 5 different products when do my hair and it's never weigh down.
For this ONE produce to weigh my hair down is ridiculous. I really don't think this product is made for African American hair. Definitely avoid you will waste your money and time. The only positive thing I have to say is it smells really good. This product paired with the leave in mask are heaven. They both work wonders together. I tried it separately before and this one still does the job without it but would recommend using both you won't regret it.
I love this stuff because it does what it says. I've been using it for over a month now and have no complaints. It smells nice, it detangles, it gets rid of the frizz, it creates a beautiful shine, and I noticed my hair getting a little bit longer lately because it's been getting stronger than it has been in a long time. I have absolutely no complaints and I'll definitely be using this forever.
I use to love this stuff and it worked great on my hair, it also use to smell really nice! For some reason they changed the whole formula and now it's junk! My hair feels dry, frizzy and kinda stiff after using this new formula. Not to mention the new scent is horrible!!! I am so disappointed in this change and will not be purchasing this product anymore and will be looking to return this to ultra and will be looking for something else because I just can't believe how much they changed this product, so disappointed.
I can't believe a company that literally became famous for how AMAZING their leave-in conditioner was, would have the audacity to go and change it after so many wonderful years and make it into the absolute worst product I've tried! Thankfully, other stores have created their own dupe of it and it actually works better than this new stuff, which isn't even a decent detangler anymore.
After I wash my hair I try to get some of the product out of the bottle and comb my hair. I would love to travel with it, but the pump doesn't work at all. I bought this product to use on my daughter's hair, which is fine and typically very healthy but had been dried out a bit by swimming.
I tested it on myself first 2a-b hair, lots of blonde highlights, high porosity, fine, lots of hair. I am blown away. My hair typically has a lot of frizz the day that I shampoo, so much so that I frequently end up putting it up. Spraying this on all over after washing and towel drying microfiber scrunching , my hair was easier to comb out. I let it air dry as usual. It felt a bit oily when wet, but that was almost completely gone once dry.
My hair is noticeably softer, shinier, and has basically no frizz. I am definitely going to continue using this product myself. I was really blown away by the results.
The only negatives I would note are the price totally worth it in my opinion and a rather strong scent maybe roses that might be too much for some. I love the scent, and I am very picky in that area. I use to love this product. Sellers deny it but die hard consumers can feel the difference in our hair. Leaves hair feeling like product build up and frizzy. No longer leaves hair smooth and shiny. Please bring the old product back!!! Not a fan. Definitely not worth the price.
